Look at that, I actually have been able to post boxes on consecutive days! I’m not 100% sure I’ll have enough time to get all the scans and sorting done for the 1996 Fleer box tomorrow, so that may end up showing its face on Thursday, but I’ll do my best.
If you missed it, check out the Finest Series 1 box break from yesterday here (or below).
Moving on to Series 2. A lot of the stars from series 1 have the potential to rear their heads again. You can of course follow all the action in the video below.
And again, Nachos Grande, let me know if you have any interest in the Eric Owens glued to the front of the box considering you got one non-glued copies in the box. For those who don’t have time for videos, here are a couple scans of the highlights.
Series 2 contains four different classifications. Well, not really different. Different names that essentially cover the same ground as series 1, but allow for Topps to re-include players in both parts of the overall set.
How about those odds? We found a silver refractor (1:2 boxes) in both of our boxes. Not only that, but they were both of Rockies players. Unfortunately no one grabbed the Rockies so these are for trade. So is that gold Livan Hernandez.
Luckily, most of the silver SPs were claimed. Again we found doubles in the form of two Santiagos and two Stottlemyres. At least they’re going to good homes. Also, I get to ship out the two bronze refractors. Imagine how much that Hollandsworth would have brought in back in 1996!
I’ve updated the count below. How about them Indians? You may feel that you’re falling behind in your team, but wait for 1996 Fleer. There a bunch of cards in that box, so we should start seeing things even out a bit as we head into hit country.
