I have very few card collections given my limited resources and space, but I did decide some time ago to begin collecting on-card Royals autographs. It’s been a blast so far trying to track these things down and this is the latest addition to my collection. I’m working on getting a legit want list together on my trade page but, in the meantime, if you have any on-card Royals autos that it looks like I don’t have, don’t hesitate to drop me a line!
Desaturation is a go!
Joe over at The Sandlot sent me this awesome Justin Huber auto (my first!). And what did he want in exchange? Oh, some Mets? Yeah dude. I got some Mets. If there wasn’t at least one early Fleer Mets team set in there, I’ll eat Justin Huber’s hat. No, not his Royals hat up there, his Somerset Patriots hat! In the past couple of years, he’s played in Japan and Australia (his homeland). If you ask me, second only to playing in the MLB would be a barnstorming-style run at pro and semi-pro ball all around the world. That would be killer. Of course, Huber here hit his first big league homer off of Randy Johnson so that must feel pretty awesome. Hell, I’d be pretty stoked just to be that bird Johnson nailed with a fastball. Or to even go to Australia. Sigh.
Thanks for the trade, Joe- I hope you don’t have anything else I want because you got literally every Met I own!
