When we made the decision to get back into card collecting, we made a promise to our respective girlfriends. They both were okay with us reliving our youth as long as we didn’t “get too crazy” with it. It was not to consume us and we were to keep our savings accounts intact. We are supposed to be adults now, after all – albeit barely.
Of course, as card collectors, you all know how obsessive and consuming the addiction can get. It’s inevitable that we were/are going to get too crazy. So, to circumvent things a little bit and to ease the concerns of the significant others we are forced to curb our costs by attempting to sell the majority of our cards (we currently use sportlots.com, but contact us if you want to buy directly). If it’s not going in the Personal Collections, it’ll most likely go up for sale. We don’t necessarily like it, but there you have it.
