Hey everybody! Sorry about the brief delay. If you’re anything like me, you’re most interested to see what’s going to come out of this heavy box right here.
It’s worth mentioning each and every time, all of these boxes are courtesy of our good friends and Community Break Sponsor: BASEBALL CARD EXCHANGE
I think the next time I have a group break, I’m going to have to find another box with a ball inside. Does UD have one of those? They’re probably up next.
Scan time! Here’s a small sampling of the chrome refractors that are the base cards.
As you can see, it’s not about the rookie cards. They feature the “best years” cards. I don’t know if that’s production wise, or Topps’ opinion about their own cards. Probably the former.
We were guaranteed 3 cardboard hits, and this is the downside of having unclaimed teams left over. As I said in the video, I bought this box with the specific purpose of getting some legends cards and hits out to all of you. Instead, I’m holding all of them.
Feel free to make me an offer, but I don’t anticipate moving the Jenkins or Ryan without something I can’t refuse. If I could afford to collect Nolan, he would be my number 1 focus. I toyed with the idea of collecting Puckett as well, but that probably won’t happen.
Enough of what is now my stuff. Does the autographed ball go to anyone at least?
Congratulations to Kyle of Baseball Card Hall of Fame! Graig Nettles goes to the Yankees. Don’t worry, it hasn’t and won’t leave the ball cube. I’ll figure out a good way to ship it off to you.
If you were looking for a box to pump your numbers, this wasn’t going to be it. A few teams were completely shut out, while a couple got as many as 6 of the 40 possible cards. Still, I think this was the most interesting box, and hopefully you enjoyed watching it even if you didn’t personally get too much in your stack.

Jon, I just watched the video and here’s my 2 cents. You take the risk by putting your money out for all those unclaimed teams, sometimes you get rewarded. That Ryan is nice and will make a nice addition to your collection. The Jenkins is just incredible and Puckett is good too. Those are the breaks of group breaks. Keep up the great work!
[…] Kirby on the other hand, does have some followers. I already have a Puckett relic from my Archives Reserve box break (although this swatch is nicer), and I probably don’t need two. The back says it’s […]
[…] of this blog, I bought the non-shiny one for more money. These cards are pretty cool. In fact, I opened a box of this stuff a few years […]
